The Trauma Care International Foundation, creator by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome organized the first-ever global voluntary blood donation campaign in the end of June and it was marked as successful. It’s been said that no other organization has managed to recruit so many voluntary blood enrollment for such a short period of time.
What’s more, the organization shared that thousands of people from more than 17 countries from all around the world signed up in the maiden edition of the voluntary blood donation campaign, which was originally organized by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome — the creator of Christ Embassy and the Trauma Care International Foundation. The effort was held between the hours of 10AM to 6PM concurrently, across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America GMT+1. The company noticed the participants varied from various strata of society. They also said that this achievement was because of people’s desire”to show their feelings of love and kindness for humanity through voluntary blood donation”. The effort was held in commemoration of the annual World Blood Donor Day, which will be marked on June 14th each year.
